Étui OtterBox Defender pour LG G3, noir / noir

It does not fit the phone that i need it for. I want to return this product. But there are no instructions on how to. The other products that I ordered are great, they fit good.

Ever since my iPhone 3 (and about 6 other phones since) I have loved Otterbox. I don't carry my phone in my pocket. I don't like to. I carry it on my belt and the otterbox has a nice belt clip too. The cases are wonderful and can handle a LOT. I put mine through heck and the cases endure. I occasionally have to take them off and clean the cases (and even the phone a little) but the phone inside still endures. So if I love the Otterbox so much, why only a "3 Star" review? Well the case is outstanding. The belt clip? Not so much. I have probably had about 6 different phones with otterboxes, but I have probably purchased about 12 cases. Not because of the case, but because of the belt clip. Maybe it's just me, but I don't just use my phone and put it back on the belt clip. Sometimes (and this is how I get into trouble), I use it as a GPS in my car (ok, truck), or I might have it on the charger in the truck. Anyway, when I get out, it's not always convenient to "Clip" it back in the holster while sitting in the truck. So as I turn to get out, the empty holster on my belt brushes against the seat and "Snags" and breaks off one of the corner "Hooks". I have replaced it twice under warranty (I have also bought it 3 times.) At $50.00 a piece, it's getting expensive. I Have tried to epoxy the piece back on, but it doesn't work out so well because the lower "Nubs" are larger then the upper ones, so it doesn't sit flat/level easily enough to allow the epoxy to set. If Otterbox could either make the holsters "Metal" or reinforce these week corners of the holsters with metal (or similar) then I could easily give it a 5 star rating.

I'm one who drops their phone at least a few times a day. I always look for a case on a new phone that is as damage-proof as possible. This case does the job so long as I ensure I don't drop my phone from either too high a height (10ft or more), or on the wrong angle (like a direct corner hit). I'm sure if I exceed the 'metrics' of either of these than I'll end up with a cracked/broken screen. It appears OtterBox fails to realize the weakest point of any rectangular prism is the corners, and as a result leaves them no more protected than the backing or sides. Large, energy dissipating, rubber corners should be on the most 'defensive' models of the cases. My last phone had a case from a competitor (who unfortunately didn't have stock for a case of my current phone) and any time someone would complain of physical phone damage I would simply throw my phone across the room/store/parking lot/etc. and state 'Mine doesn't'. I wish I could make that statement for my OtterBox.
