A few problems with this fridge at the designer and supplier level.
Canadian Tire is advertising that it has a 'flat back so it can sit flush with a wall' and that was a *major* selling point for me. Instruction manual very clearly indicates a 6" clearance on all sides, and that this must be a free standing install only - so no built ins. They're either wrong by accident, or wrong on purpose, but either way I have a fridge that doesn't operate as advertised. Due to this wrong information, I will either have to return the fridge, or build out the area it is going to sit on another 6 inches. In my case, this is a non-trivial issue. Now that I've got it unboxed and it's a giant hassle to repack and get back to the store - that's when I find out they're wrong about the operational specs. Great. Thanks.
Worth noting, too, that the back and both sides get very warm. Like, uncomfortably warm to the touch. The manual is absolutely right to say it needs clearance on all sides, no question.
Whoever designed this fridge with only two adjustment knobs in the front for leveling forgot a pretty basic mechanical principle - you need *THREE* points on a plane to level. Three. Not two. THREE. As a result, if the back two 'feet' are not on a perfectly level surface, it is not possible to level the unit as only the front two can be adjusted.
More, the back two 'feet' are actually very smooth, flat metal surfaces. They slide really, really easily. So easily, in fact, that you can pull the fridge around by the door handle every time you go to open the thing, if you don't somehow anchor the fridge against the force of you pulling the door open. The front feet do nothing to grip, either - and I'm not on a slippery surface. This is regular hardwood - not even engineered flooring, but actual wood boards. It's great that the door closes with such a seal, as that will add to the efficiency, but honestly I shouldn't have to hold the fridge in place with one hand and pull with the other to open the door - and there's currently 23 bottles of beer in the thing - this is not at empty weight. I suppose if I put a couple of 20 pound weights on the top of it it might stay in place... but I shouldn't have to do something like that when rubber friction pads are a thing that exists.
So yeah, the design choices and the incorrect information from Canadian Tire are two fairly major annoyances.
That said, this fridge gets *****COLD*****. I believe it would freeze cans and bottles to the point they shatter or split on the highest setting. I'm willing to put up with all the garbage above if I can get my beer at painfully cold temperatures, and this fridge seems like it's going to do that. It's been on at 3/5 for less than an hour and the internal is already approaching 3 deg C. I'm certain 5/5 would hit (and maybe even pass) the advertised 0 deg C.
Given my priorities and the hassle of the return, this is probably staying with me. But I wouldn't have bought it in the first place, if I'd known about the junk bits in advance.

I purchased this fridge to store pies in at our local farmers market. It is large enough to hold 7 pies plus lots of space on the door for water or juice!

Ok little fridge

Nice looking mini fridge with lots of space to keep drinks nice and cool. Fridge setting must be set to at least 2 in order to make ice cubes. The interior could be redesigned as their is not a lot of space for tall items such as juice jugs and wine bottles. Overall this is a nice appliance and I would recommend you purchase this mini fridge.

This fridge is excellent - lots of space for food and drink, large enough to store a full party's worth of stuff. And it is a sleek modern design, so looks good pretty much anywhere - upstairs, downstairs or in the garage!

R : Ignore the generic useless copy and paste answer from the Canadian Tire "expert". It is an E-Star or energy star fridge, meaning it uses less power to run then the cheaper one you were comparing. Bottom line; this fridge costs more but saves money on hydro bills.

R : Il n'a qu'une porte, un système de refroidissement, il n'y a donc qu'un seul thermostat de réglage de ce modèle. Pas de filtre séparé pour le refroidisseur.

R : We don’t recommend removing the bulb directly. After the bulb is removed, the lamp holder is easily wetted by water vapor causing a short circuit. This is dangerous! On the right side of the cabinet, there is a fan switch that controls the bulb. When the door is opened, the switch is turned on and the lamp lights up. When the door is closed, the switch is closed and the lamp is extinguished. The switch does not control the lamp, so we can’t turn off the light alone.
