Good Security for Firearms

This safe even with the door removed is heavy. I would use a Heavy Duty Fridge cart with solid wheels if I moved it again.
Over all safe is good quality, and meets the needs for security of firearms and ammunition. Don't hesitate to buy, while it may not hold a full 24 long guns it will hold around 12 easily with shelves, and 15 - 20 without the shelves. Electronic entry is fast and easy to use. Carpeted to prevent scratches on guns. Various shelving configurations to suit most needs. Overall it was a good purchase for me. If you can break in to this safe... you are a well trained thief. Wouldn't even think of trying.

Better than nothing

Meets the minimum requirements of a safe at a good price when it's on sale for half price, but is little better than a school locker as far as security goes. The 1" locking lugs are attached to 16ga sheet metal inside the door where you can't see it unless you remove the inner panel. Mine has a dent in the corner from being bumped. This safe would be easy to pry open in seconds. It might hold 24 guns if you don't care about scratches and dents, reality is 12 at best. All that being said, it meets the definition of a safe for thousands less than a real one, but don't expect any real security from it.

Good safe but not the same as one pictured

The safe seems pretty secure and is a really good price when it goes on sale. The safe however is not exactly as described in the right up, it is not a 5 point locking safe, it only has 3 locking bolts.

In my opinion this is not a 24 gun safe.Back row will not hold hardely any guns.Overall this is a secure gun safe.

R : It may be advertised as water resistant, but it isn't. There is a thin rubber trim piece around the edge of the door, but there is so much slop in the locking mechanism that the door is not held tightly against it. There are also holes in the back and bottom for mounting that will let water in as well.
