I bought this cabinet online for the clearance price and picked up from local store. The price was great and the cabinet is everything i expected it to be. I did have a small problem mounting casters because of amount of clearance between caster and bolt holes. I was able to organize a lot of tools that were in smaller tool boxes. Great help.

Got this for nearly 50% off due to clearance. When fully assembled it is a great setup. I am pleased with the latching drawers as I have another tool chest that sometimes has drawers that open up on their own. It also avoids problems if your floor is slightly uneven and tilts a bit forward. I would definitely recommend this set (I bought both the top and bottom because of price) but I did notice some resistance to pull open on the top set. I seem to need two hands on both ends of the drawer to pull the latches down far enough to release. Is there any adjustment?

Canadian Made Quality Cabinet

After searching around and looking at the options for a small tool chest, I was very pleased to find a cabinet which was manufactured in Canada for a fair price. This cabinet's features and quality construction set it ahead of all the other cabinets in the same price bracket at any of the 6 different retail stores I looked at.
After continuously running across garbage foreign products which last 6 months, and continue to fill our landfills, I have begun seeking out better quality products. Though it is maybe not quite as good as a Mac or Snap-on box, I believe that this is a cabinet that will last a long time and costs 1/3 the price.
It seems to come on sale several times a year so if you have some patience you can get it for 1/3 or more off the regular price.
PROS:
-Good quality drawer slide release levers
-Drawers that slide easily and do not twist and bind
-Good load capacity rating
-Large caster wheels
-Canadian Made
CONS:
-Only available in 2 width options
-No other Canadian Made garage storage cabinet options with large drawers
-Only comes in black

Great Value.... Canadian Made. Not a combo you hear often.
I bought this with the top chest.
Summary:
Its a solidly built tool cabinet that easily stands above its Chinese made competition sold in the same price bracket. Its no mac or snap-on.... but it will more than suit the needs of a weekend warrior, or aspiring apprentice.
Bonus points its made here in Canada... which is a rare sight at "Canadian" tire.
Pros:
-foam lined packaging protected the cabinet/box from any dings/dents in spit of the gorillas who handled it (including myself)
-Stainless (or nickel plated its hard to tell) fasteners included. Nice touch especially if you plan on using this in a high humidity environment.
-Drawer catches can be engaged from any position in the drawer. This is less common than you might think.
-Slides are smooth, even when loaded down.
Cons:
-Minor annoyance; the caster mounting plates a are a bit tight so i was unable to use a ratcheting wrench to tighten all the bolts.
-Maybe I'm spoiled by the high-end boxes which self close, but it takes a bit of getting used to. With that said... nothing else I've seen at this price bracket has self-closing drawers.

Excellent Buy when on sale

I am a millwright that really uses a toolbox. It is pushed and bumped around all day. I bought this one a while back and I still love it. The drawers hold alot of weight and slide very nice. Couldn't be happier with this buy.

Q : The bag with the 16 bolts which are used to attach each of the wheels also include 16 thick washers/spacers but the instruction manual does not even acknowledge their existence. Where are these supposed to be installed or is it an error?
