Worst Tv and worse customer service

Worst TV and customer service from Sharp and apparently Hisense. According to Sharp, they don’t manufacture the TV (even though they are willing to put there name on it and all of the screens on the TV). Hisense will not support this TV. I fully expect the standard, sorry you are having a problem please contact customer service tagline from my review. Both companies have my contact info, Canadian Tire buyer don’t support this garbage - it makes your business a joke

I received this TV less than 2 years ago. I have the same issue as many! It displays the Sharp logo, then after 2-3 seconds, the screen turns black. The power light remains on (red light) which also causes it to keep consuming electricity altough unfunctionnal.
I looked online and tried all the alternatives to reset tv / unplug tv. Nothing works,
Never purchased an electronic with such a short life of expectancy...

We have had the tv for just over 2 year. The TV turns on shows the Sharp logo and turns off…seems like a very common issue.

R : Ya, I don't know what TV Papa got, but the one on this page shows a picture of the tv with some of the apps it comes with, and the very 1st top bulletin point says: "supports smart features such as various apps" - Their website for the page indicates it does, and I've gone to the "store" and maybe some hokey apps, only looked for a second, and didn't actually download any, but all indications (like the app store button on the tv apps section.. I think it's like the Sharp "Expert" said "VEWD" or something. But if you go to the official "sharp-canada.ca" site to their page for the LC 65N7004U DON'T try to download the "Smart TV Remote App Download" that the last bullet in the features list under "Bigger. Better. Brighter" if you do it from your android and don't have any blockers - it will take you to a SCAM SITE. I just won a Samsung S20, just 5 bucks for shipping or something.. which you have to give your CC info to pay for, of course, and realize your Life Savings seemd to dissappear next time you check your bank... click again .. Wow! I got selected for some big prize, another SCAM SITE DIRECTLY FROM SHARP Canada's official website.. Look the TV up if you want, just don't click the link with your phone unprotected. (like who doesn't these days, but that's completely Expert web design there!) Didn't check the french page. What exactly do you "Require" my email for? I don't think I can trust you with it, if Sharp works like that they may have infected your systems already! (Though I DO like Canadian Tire!) And, I don't agree to the terms, I only clicked the box so It would let me warn people, just in case. Who really would actually agree to 99.9% of the terms they click if they knew what they were giving away.

R : You can only download new apps that are already available in the included ”App Store.” You won’t be able to go to Google Play and load anything; you can’t even load extensions on to the chrome browser.

R : Disney + is currently not available on the VIDAA operating system. Disney + is available on Sharp Android and Sharp Roku TV's. We are working behind the scenes on compatibility issues to make Disney + available in the future. In the meantime, you can watch Disney + on this TV by connecting your laptop or computer via HDMI cable or through a third party device like a PS4, Roku Streaming Stick, Amazon Firestick, XBox One, Mi Box, or Google Chromecast.
