Sturdy!

I’ve been wanting this model for a while and it’s everything I was hoping for. Sturdy yet compact. Flame control is far better than other similar stoves and the pan grate was strong enough to hold a cast iron Dutch oven, no prob.

It’s okay, but made with cheap materials.

It’s okay. I like the powder-coated finish and the chrome cooking rack. I also like that the buckle is metal; it looked plastic in the picture so I was worried it wouldn’t last. But I was disappointed by the fact that the metal seems a little flimsy. I expected a heavier gauge. Also, my model seems like it was designed for piezo igniters but they weren’t included. I’ll have to retrofit those if I decide they are important enough. Lastly, the drip pan is aluminum! I expected stainless steel. So overall, it’s made more cheaply than I expected. But it works.

That said, we're sorry to hear that the gauge of the metal body felt lighter than expected. The Triton stove is engineered to balance portability with performance, and part of that trade-off involves using lighter-weight materials to keep it easy to carry and pack. However, we understand that this can give the impression of reduced durability, and your point is well taken.
Regarding the piezo igniter, earlier models of the Triton stove did not include built-in ignition systems, which may be why you didn’t find one included. Some later versions have integrated ignition depending on the retail package, but we recognize how useful a built-in igniter can be and are continuously evaluating features to match user needs.
As for the drip tray, it is indeed made from aluminum, intended to be lightweight and corrosion-resistant. That said, we understand how stainless steel might have met your expectations for both strength and longevity, and we’re passing this feedback to our product team for future consideration.

Cook-n with gas

I picked up the triton 2 burner as a backup to a 3 burner coleman fuel ⛽️ stove i got in the mid 80's, this new one is lightweight, easy to handle lights up immediately when flame is put to gas, big plus i really like is individual burner control, the original green color would have been nice, the black fits right in on any cooking situation, overall satisfied with the purchase.

Great camp stove!

Great camp stove. The wind shields work well and they adjust outward so that you can fit a larger pan over the burner. I really like that there is a permanent metal liner under the burners for easy clean-up. The burners have many more holes for the gas flame than my old stove giving you more flame control. The matte black color is really stylish, however, I still harbor some nostalgia for my tried and true 40 year old green stove.
Overall, for this is a great propane stove. An electric ignition would be nice, but you can get that on a more expensive model.
