    I got this to help paint my granddaughter's room. It makes it a lot quicker to paint, We will be repaint the whole house inside this product will make the job a lot easier.

    Such a gamechanger, and so easy to use! We have several rentals that needed a facelift, and I came across this roller, super smooth and works great! Quick, fast and great coverage. Anyone can use it!!! I'm no painter, but I look forward to using it again and again.

    I was asked to paint the wall above the store. It is 10 feet up and about 8 feet tall and 18 feet wide. I was imagining how hard it would be to set up my ladder, and then how many trips up and down to refil my roller. I was at the store and asking if there were some attachment to the ladder so I could keep the roller pan up with me. I'm so glad the helpful fellow showed me the SideKick Roller! I took a chance and purchased it. It has a 60 foot hose, so I thought that would be enough. IT WAS! What a delight! I hooked it up directly to my paint can and plugged it in. I pressed the button and got to watch the paint fill the hose and then the roller. Up the ladder I went. With each pass, I smiled and whistled. It was a breeze. No reason to go up and down the ladder. The paint just flowed into the roller when ever I pressed the button. It was a snap. I had the whole thing done with a nice even coat in less time than I had planned. Cleanup was a snap following the easy directions. I can't wait for my next job!

    I love my little power roller. Eliminates the need to dip your roller over and over again! I will not paint without it. I wish there were days ferret sized roller attachments though!

    I bought this to replace a Wagner Power Roller Pro which quit working. This is an improvement over that unit, really saved me time painting a 2 bedroom 900 square foot rental. The included roller is high quality and did a great job, and I love the self cleaning feature. I did modify the cleaning process a little, as my old unit was ruined because paint didn't clean out of the pump inside the unit and I wanted to make sure this one doesn't suffer the same fate. I used a 5 gallon bucket of clean water and pumped it into a bathtub, then half a pail of soapy water into the bathtub, then half a pail of rinse water into the tub. I did find that when I moved the unit between cycles, more paint would come out, so I suggest moving the unit during the cleaning process, lift and turn the wand, lift the hose, and tilt and rock the unit, to make sure you get all the paint. I did have to give it 4 stars for two reasons, the vacuum switch is a little balky, it gets kind of messy with the tube clamp getting into the paint bucket when it's full, and that assembly is kind of flimsy and the unit didn't want to stay with the bucket while moving it and dragging the hose. But it is worth the price for the time and effort saved.

    Q : Can it be used with oil based primer? If yes, how to clean it after using with oil based primer?

      R : Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, you can use oil-based primer with the Smart Sidekick. When cleaning, use the appropriate cleaning solution (warm, soapy water for latex materials; mineral spirits for oil-based materials).
