While the measurements may be accurate, it is a constant source of annoyance that it will not remember the settings from the last use.
If I want to measure in inches, it will start in Metres, and I have to page through mm; decimal feet; then feet and inches before getting to inches.
The measurement defaults to being from the base of the unit, so page through mid-unit to get to measuring from the top of the unit.
If I needed many measurements in a short period of time it would be ok, but to have to adjust these settings every time it turns on is a pain.

This thing is really easy to use. The big display clearly shows what type of measurement you're doing and shows the last three measurements you made, not including the current measurement.
You can measure from the front of the unit, the middle, the back or even from the end of a fold-away extension.
You can easily switch between inches in fraction or decimal format, metres, millilmetres, feet in decimals or feet and inches together.
It also easily calculates area, volume and the hypotenuse angle.
The size fits easily in your hand and it's nice and light too. I wouldn't want it any bigger or smaller.
Some people say it takes up to 8 seconds to get a measurement but they must have a defective unit because I get a measurement in under two seconds each time.
I definitely recommend this product.

Err 001 Cause: The reflected laser light is too intense. Action: Do not direct the laser at a highly reflective surface; cover the surface with white paper if necessary. Err 007 Cause: Strong vibration or the tool was moved quickly when measuring. Action: Always keep the tool steady

Please ensure that you are using 6 V (4 x 1.5 V aaa alkaline batteries) If this still does not resolve the issue, the product carries a 3 year exchange warranty. Please take it into your store with your receipt for an exchange if you are within the warranty period.

R : According to the manual It's 113 x 56.4 x 35 (mm). A little bigger than I thought it would be. Weighs 155 g without batteries. Range 0.1-50 m under ideal conditions. Now if only I could find a way to adjust this annoying beep every time any button is pushed.
