J'ai fait 3 smooties en l'espace de 3 semaines et une très grosse odeur de brûler suivi de fumée j'ai débranché je peux plus m'en servir je déconseille très fortement ce model /marque

Bad quality and functionality. The blades stand high and a lot of food get trapped underneath and does not get pureed, cannot be used for smaller quantities for the same reason. If jar is not screwed too tight, liquid is leaking, if you screw it tight enough to avoid leakage it's almost impossible to unscrew. Last time I used it, it got overheated in 5 minutes and started to smoke.

I received the Master Series Touch blender yesterday. It powers on but does not blend. I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if it’s defective. I’ve gone over the instructions, which are very simple, and it does not blend after any button has been engaged. I believe this is defective but any help would be appreciated

Thank you for reaching out to Oster. We are sorry to hear that your blender doesn't blend. This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. If your blender is not working properly, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the blender. Let the unit rest for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, plug it into a different wall outlet. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the blender's performance. Also, make sure that all parts and accessories are properly inserted. Otherwise, it might cause the product not to work properly. Also, please check some blending tips below.
Tip 1: How To Make A Smoothie
For smoothies load your blender from liquids to solids. Star with your liquid of yogurt - be sure you have enough to cover the blades. Then add fresh fruits or veggies cut in 3/4 to 1 inch pieces. And, lastly add frozen fruit or ice.
Tip 2: How To Make A Smoother Smoothie
If you're using a lot of hard fruits and veggies or, a lot of greens in your smoothie, be sure that you pre-blend them with your liquids first - then add in your other frozen ingredients and blend again.
Tip 3: High and Low Setting
The Low speed is ideal for pureeing, pulse chopping, mixing, whipping, creaming. Use the higher setting for more powerful jobs to Blend and Liquefy, Crush Ice, Make Smoothies, Pulse and Chop, Grind, or Shred.

R : None of these places carry the 178891000000 replacement jar. Amazon even sent me the wrong one and does not carry this particular model. The ones that do sell this model are showing out of stock or on back order. Is you company not producing the jar anymore? Maybe for people to purchase another updated model, just my thought.
