Le seul défaut est qu'il est un peu bruyant. J'adore sa capacité d'essence. A notre camp, un réservoir nous a servi pendant près de 20 heures. J'en croyais pas mes yeux....

Excellent Generator

I went and filled it up with oil as it isn't filled up when you buy it. Read the instructions and then it started on the 2nd pull. I was so surprised by how quite it actually is. Wont wake up the neighbors as I have it to use when we loose power in our winter storms sometimes over a week long. It can run everything needed and even a few things that you can run like the fridge for a short time. Not getting stuck in the dark or cold this year and no spoiled food. So easy to use.

DEFINATLY WORTH THE MONEY

we have taken this generator camping quite a few times and its great. kicks in first pull every time. the wife has no problems with it. every time we go out we piggy back 2-3 trailers off ours. so far havent ran out of power. had it out in snow and rain and it takes the weather like a champ. not as quiet as a honda of course but with a 100 foot cord you dont notice it at all. would by again and definatly reccommend

Q : manuel? Aucun manuel dans la boite est-il disponible en ligne? j'ai du jeter la boite pour l'entré dans l'auto donc impossible de la retourner pour échange en magasin

Q : Can I hook this into my house current? If I make up a double ended male plug can I plug it into my outside plug and have the power feed back through my fuse panel to power the furnace as I can't run it indoors?

R : You need to have a transfer switch installed to run things in your house off of a generator (instead of municipal power). Have an electrician install one. It'll cost you a bit, but, any other set-up could cost you a lot more. You're right though... don't even think about running your generator indoors.

R : I have a similar size of generator and use it to run my fridge and freezer with no problems. I'd think it is a liability issue that causes them to say not to do so. Also, I run (at different times) my computer, modem, wireless, and internet tower off of my generator during an outage with no problems. Be sure when using it for you apt. to ensure it is outside and no CO gas gets in to your place. Have a battery back-up CO detector handy.

R : The amperage is found by Amps=volts/watts so amps = 120/2400 amps=20 I have a 30 foot trailer and only have 20 amp fused service and never have problems however if you are operating air conditioner then you will need to be very aware of what other equipment you have on. Air and lights should be OK but will max out this generator when the AC kicks in.

R : The SINE Wave technology used on Mastercraft generators produces an acorn-shaped wave at no load, and a smoothed sine wave when a load is applied. If you are going to use this generator to feed sensitive electronics, you might want to first plug in a 100 watt light bulb or an equivalent 25 watt compact fluorescent light into the spare socket on the generator, to load down the voltage regulator and produce a (near) sine wave. We have used this type of generator for years to power sensitive, expensive ham radio equipment, but we have always loaded it down first as described above. The only time it would not work is when we tried to use it to charge an uninterruptable power supply that demanded a perfect sine wave input.

R : the answer is yes, BUT it would only run the 120 volt, up to 15 amp, the question you should ask is, IS IT SAFE TO DO SO, and the answer is NO. if there was any mistake by not having the main breaker for your home to the utility company powerline in the off position, geneator damage would occur, plus you may electrocute a powerline worker in the area,
