I got this on sale for approximately 1/3 of the normal price. I thought, backup camera for hooking up travel trailer and boat to my truck. Guess what? It works fantastic!!!!! It may not be wireless, or have a large screen, but no more hopping in and out of my truck to hitch up. LUV IT!!

This is one of those gadgets that you see and think "do I REALLY need this?"- as I thought last year when we received one as a gift. It only took me one day of use to realize what an invaluable piece of equipment this was. Having a new baby in the car is an overwhelming experience as it is. Couple this with the fact that the baby will sit in the back seat...BACKWARDS and you've got a very nerve wracking experience! You COULD use the mirror add-ons that are readily available, but there difficult to mount at the right angle, and ultimately are a distraction from the road. You could also turn your head around regularly. An even BIGGER distraction from the road. The monitor allows you to keep your eyes on the road/to the front and offers settings to adjust the lighting so that you can see your child even at night (with the night vision functionality) The YADA video monitor provides peace of mind when out with your little one. You don’t have to question what they’re doing (or, as a new mom, if they’re still breathing!)- you KNOW at ALL times what’s going on back there. Not only does it offer that peace of mind, it also offers you the knowledge that you are providing a safer driving experience for your little one as you are able to focus on the road with less interruptions. I would (and DO!) recommend this product to anyone who drives (especially those who travel long distance/often) **In addition to the overall ease of use of the product, I recently had to engage with YADA customer service/support as a result of some technical difficulties I was experiencing with my unit. Of all of my interactions with similar parties/companies over the years, I must say that this was my most positive interaction to date. The support person was very quick to respond to my email query, able to get the information he needed while acting in a very kind and professional manner and was ultimately able to come to a resolution met (and exceeded) my satisfaction. From start to finish, this entire interaction (including resolution) took less time than most company’s take to even respond to an initial concern. I was very impressed. I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this company/product

We had tried to use mirrors to see our baby but they would come loose easily and getting the right angle was a constant adjustment. The camera is easily adjustable as our baby grew taller and was always very clear- day or night. We also weren't worried about it coming loose in an accident (unlike a mirror). It may not be cordless but it is easy to install and the cords can just be run under your mats. Every parent should have one of these in their car to have piece of mind when driving with their child. I highly recommend this product.
