Great Value Cargo Box

We bought this box for a family camping trip and it is surprisingly good quality and great value. We looked at Thule box and this one seems like an exact copy for almost half the price. The box has held up well and even served us on a cross Canada trip from Toronto to Calgary.

CCM Rooftop Box

Purchased this unit on clearance. Mounting hardware is simple and solid. Unlocks from both sides. Great amount of interior space at a fraction of the cost compared to similar models from Thule or Yakima and other big name brands. Great purchase that helped with many summer trips.

It’s worth the wait! I have been waiting for a Thule rooftop cargo to go on sale and found the CCM, it’s almost identical. Very easy to install. Aerodynamic shape so it’s very quiet. Great buy and will definitely recommend.

Q : We have the 2 straps for inside securing, but it is unclear how those are attached to the roof carrier frame. We do not see the "included cargo strap loops". All we have are the 2 long woven straps. Could you provide a picture? Or more instructions?

R : Not sure this answers your questions, but the cargo box attaches to your car via the four 'claws' that are included. You need to have cross-rails on your car in order to attach it. If you do not have cross-rails, you cannot attach it. From what I understand, the cargo straps are just included as a bonus to secure any gear you are packing. Hope this helps!
