It was an Amazing product for the price. I had never purchased a backup camera and was uncertain which backup camera was right for me. after intensive research, I decided on this product and I was never disappointed.

Not impressed with the camera mount. It is a very thin metal bracket and it lasted a week before the bracket broke. Camera is now taped on the trailer hitch with duck tape. As it is not fixable. Very feeble bracket for the money you spend. Disappointing. Not recommended.

Monitor starts working correctly after repeated try, like shifting gear back to P and then R repeatedly.

R : Check the reverse light power cable connection first, make sure connection of power or earth all are good. Also make sure two plugs (camera to extension cable and extension cable to monitor) plug in tight. This problem is a connection problem.

However, it needs to find a reverse light signal, because Ford cars that have reverse light wire built within the circuit board have another light system. Please check with your local Canadian Tire automotive department.

R : This product has own complete wire system. First, you need to splice the product wire with the car tailgate light wire, and it’s the ONLY splice needed. Then, run the product wire from truck to the front to connect with the monitor of the product. See below wiring diagram for reference.
