Great set of Pliers to have around home and also on the job at your side. The pliers are very capable, excellent cutting power and gripping strength . Very durable and looks like they will stand the test of time, also backed up with a lifetime warranty against defects is even better. Great investment for your tool collection.

Alright lets keep it short and sweet. I work in communications, so dealing with stripped bolts, rust, vandalized equipment, stubborn connections, its pretty much the status quo day to day that you have to get creative and get tough sometimes. Its because of that I expect something rugged, reliable, and versatile enough to tackle a job I never fully know what to expect from. Naturally, I turn to a pair of linesman's pliers, and its something I'd suggest someone looking for a bit more grunt in general look into. A combination of leverage and a robust pair of jaws, as well as a solid wire cutter that makes butter of even steel cabling and smaller bolts, its certainly hard to argue its not a capable tool. This is less a con, though, and more to say you don't get some freebies. Overall, a great tool. I really have nothing to say down about it, its exactly what I expect out of a pair of linesman's. I'd have to give it ten, fifteen years of abuse to see if it compares to other tools that I have. For now I wouldn't hesitate to drop it in my tool bag, about the only way you can find a better deal is if you can get your boss to pay for it.

This pair of pliers work as good as top tool truck brands. The crimping part in the handle eliminates the need for another tool. The grips on the handles are comfortable and functionable. Lifetime warranty is a plus. This is the 9 1/2inch pair of pliers. It would not let me post review unless 8 inch version was selected.
