[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this because the concept is amazing, one tool that can straighten, curl, or wave with just a quick slide of the sleeve. The design is sleek, the rose-gold accents are cute and it definitely heats up quickly.
That said, the actual usability just wasn’t a great match for me. The sliding cover and convertible design make the tool a little tricky to maneuver, especially when you’re switching grips or trying to get precise sections. I found myself pinching my fingers a few times and even brushing my hand against the hot barrel, which made styling more stressful than it should be. I think someone who’s more comfortable handling multi-use tools might get the hang of it, but it wasn’t intuitive for me.
I love the idea behind this product, and I can see the convenience factor if it fits your styling style. But if you’re someone who likes simple, easy-to-hold tools, this one may have a learning curve.

Good concept but could use work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the concept is great, but could use some work. The straightener works well, and the curling iron works okay, but the wand just didn’t work for me. I have 2b-2c hair and it can hold a curl really good, but the curls I got when using the curling iron didn’t seem to last, and I just couldn’t get the wand to work for me. I’m not sure if the barrel is too big or what. I have thick, wavy, hair that goes to mid back, and I typically use a different Remington wand but this one just wasn’t my forte. It heats nice and quick. The weight wasn’t heavy, but the plastic did feel a little cheap, but for the price I feel like it balances. I wouldn’t buy this personally, but I’m also picky about my hair tools.

Covers and clasps are finicky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of a straightener and curler all in one, but this product is a little bit finicky. You can slide up and down the outside cover to unveil or hide the curling barrel, but sometimes it would not stay in place— which was dangerous and a little bit flimsy. I also tried going from straightener to curling iron and when I slide the barrel cover down it was HOT! Don’t do it. Figure out what you want to do to your hair from the beginning and stick to it. Also I found the clamp button to keep the straightener closed is tricky to close or open. It’s really tiny. I really wanted to like this but I think my regular Remington straightener works better.

Works better as a straightener vs a barrel curler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Remington ONE Flat Iron and Curler fell short for me. When I used it on the flat iron mode I was able to easily straighten and curl my hair. When I used the barrel mode things got more difficult. I was able to get a small curl by wrapping my hair around the barrel. But I was unable to get any curl when I tried to place my hair between the plates and pull. The barrel is short so if you have long hair it can be hard to wrap all of it around. Heat up time was very fast. The flexicovers do get hot, so if you wanted to switch between modes you need to wait for them to cool. Overall, I would use it as a straightener but it falls short as a barrel curler.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ends results of using this flat iron curler. I’m in love! Because of the design, It’s so easy to use it doesn’t make noise at all. I normally take an hour to do my hair because I straighten it then curl it. This cut down the time a lot! So simple and so easy. I love it.
