Not enough power

This unit didn't have enough power to power a built-in air mattress pump. Good thing a friend had the same Motomaster Eliminator brand inverter in the 120V version. That one worked, but this one gave me nothing.

The product is not intended to be able to power larger devices with higher wattage requirements (above 30W) such as an air mattress pump. The intended usage is for charging small mobile devices such as your smartphone. Thank you for response and we are glad our Motomaster 120W Mobile Power Inverter provided the power needed.

No good for laptop.

I bought this, thinking it could power my laptop, which it says it can do in the manual. However it overloads the thing even when my laptop is off.

works for my intended use

I bought this in order to power my portable dvd player, which my kids decided to destroy the in car charger for. Thankfully having the house adapter for it all I had to do was purchase this sort of item. Glad I did purchase this one because not only is it the perfect amount of power, it is also compact and can fit where we need it too. This is a must buy for anyone looking to power small to mid size items.

Failed on first use at full power

At my first use, unit failed (burnt out) when power draw was 15 Watts.
Maybe OK for low power, but certainly disappointed me on my first camping trip using a 15W 110V fluorescent trouble light. It did not fail at start up, but failed after 30 minutes of use, which tells me it was not a power surge issue either.
It is still under 1 year warranty, and if the store refuses to replace, I shall post an update accordingly.

Great Unit

I use this a lot while camping and in the car to charge my phone and tablet. I have many other inverters (ranging from 75w to 700w) but when I just need to charge my phone of other small electronics I prefer to use this one as it does not waste much electricity in the inverting process compared to other ones. Also I have had mine for about 4 months.

R : Dash cam should come with 12V socket which plug into car cigarette directly to get 12V DC power. 30W inverter provides 110V AC power as well as USB charge port when being plugged into car cigarette plug, so 30W inverter doesn’t work for dash camera.
