Looks nice, but runs out of charge fast.

Nice looking and easy to mount but really feel like it should be able to hold more charge. Kind of defeats the purpose when we need to keep it plugged in and charging so often.

Love the light but needs to be charged

Love this little light. It does exactly what I need it to do to light up my little corner. The only thing I do not like about it is that it needs to be recharged and is not necessarily connected to an outlet. Having said that, I don't think it is a huge issue as the battery seems to last pretty long.

Handy Lamp

Lamp is well made and holds a charge for about a week with the amount we use it. It works out well for a spot with no outlet to plug in.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new Canvas Cordless LED Wall Sconce! Installation was a breeze truly a five-minute job with no electrician needed and no messy wires to hide. Q : Can you remove whatever needs charging, or do you have to charge it in place? If I had an outlet nearby (to plug into), I wouldn't need a rechargeable sconce.

R : I'm answering my own question in case it helps other, because this answer was NOT helpful. There is remarkably little info about the product on this listing too. I looked at the product in the store (and purchased it). To install the light, a small metal plate is screwed to the wall. Then the fixture slides down over that plate. You can remove the light to another location to charge it. It was extremely easy to install but it can take a few tries to get the fixture to fit onto the plate. It's not terribly bright but will improve the dark corner where we installed it. Time will tell if the battery stays charged for a decent amount of time. The light has three settings (low, medium, high). If you hold down the power button for three seconds, the light will stay on for an hour, then turn itself off. The booklet says an indicator light will show when it needs charging (but only when the light is turned on). Significantly, it doesn't appear possible to change either the shade or the custom light. They seem fixed in place. So when this LED burns out, the whole thing will be going to landfill? LED lights were supposed to be better environmentally, and they do save power and money. However building in obsolescence and waste is something I see in several light LED fixtures. I was considering another of these because the cordless feature is so helpful. However next time I will seek a product with a replaceable light bulb. Do better, Canadian Tire/Canvas! I hope that info is helpful to others.
