I couldn’t keep my rooms clean without this device. Charging is fast battery. Life is long. Very durable. Able to pick up all kinds of dirt and debris from carpets, hardwood floors, tile floors, any floors. It is not noisy at all, I would say when it’s running, the volume is less than a handheld vacuum cleaner would be. The bin will hold over a week worth of vacuuming this.

A must for your cleaning arsenal

This Shark self emptying vacuum robot is beyond efficient. Long battery life, able to avoid obstacles and not louder than a hand held vacuum. The bin that collects the dirt can hold over a week worth of debris. This robot is gentle when it comes to walls and corners. It senses these and reduces its speed so it doesn’t hit it.

Never buying shark again. Name brand trash

I have owned the Shark IQ Advantage for four years now and I can say with total confidence that you should not buy this. I have tried everything from cleaning the sensors to resetting the maps and babying the hardware but this machine is an absolute piece of garbage.
For a vacuum that claims to be smart it is remarkably the opposite. The bumpers are useless and it slams into furniture like it is blind. It doesn't detect obstacles until it is already stuck. The mapping feature is a joke because my house layout is still incorrect after years of use. 90% of the time the vacuum cannot even find its own base to charge and I usually find it dead in the middle of a room it wasn't even supposed to be in.
The mop is just gross. If you are buying this for the mopping feature then run away. It does not actually clean anything. It doesn't dispense water correctly so instead of washing the floors it just drags a damp dirty rag across my house and pushes the grime around into a smeary mess. It is genuinely disgusting to watch.
I am done with Shark. I have spent more time rescuing this thing and cleaning up after its "cleaning" than it has ever saved me. Save yourself the headache and the money and go with literally any other brand.

You would need to press the buttons located on the robot to get it to run, however you would not be able to use the app or any features of the unit that would require Wi-Fi. We recommend connecting it to Wi-Fi and pairing it with the Shark App to receive regular updates to the robot and the app. This will ensure that the robot is maintaining optimal performance. You will also be able to set up a cleaning schedule with the app.

R : I don't know what the suction power is. Not sure about how that is rated. But it works. It works really, really well. It works on my laminate floors and it works on my carpets and I don't have to change any settings. It just works. All you have to do is make sure the floors are clear of obstacles, and it will vacuum/sweep everywhere. I love this thing.
