GARBAGE!!

Luma light insect trap is absolutely garbage!!!!
I am so disappointed in this product. It hasn't even attracted 1 fruit fly in 2 days!!! Complete waste of money!!!! I should have read the reviews before buying. Clearly I am not the only one who thinks this. Shame on you for selling this product! My husband didn't want to buy this and preferred to buy another cheaper product for the same purpose and me being a woman figured this item was much better due to the higher price and of course I thought it was cute. All it is good for is a silly little blue light.

As a recommendation you may pour a few drops of apple cider vinegar around the led light, not directly on the LED. While I did manage to catch 3 flying insects with it the 2 small containers of cider vinager caught 30

Our Luma Trap is designed to trap flying insects with the included bait to be placed on the glue trap but not over filling as it would not leave enough open space on the glue board to trap the flying insects. Waste of money

I purchased this product for my daughter as it is non toxic to take care of the pesty flies. We were both very disappointed as this product is fairly expensive.I will never purchase or recommend this product

Waste of money.

I bought this to keep regular house fly's away from food on the patio. Let me tell you, there were fly's, hundreds of them, on the burgers, buns, in the salad, and buzzing around in the garbage. This product was within inches of everything. Not one single fly is stuck to the pad... almost seems like the "attractant" is a repellant. But if you wanna pay alot for a tiny night light..buy it. Photo is after 3 days.

Our Luma Flying Insect Trap is designed to trap flies and common flying insects but if you are experiencing a high volume of flies in outdoor areas we recommend using our Catchmaster Fly Bag Trap or our Catchmaster Fly Jar Trap that are also sold at Canadian tire. Both of the previous mentioned items are designed to hold up to thousands of flies and recommended for use outdoors. I got this at the end of last year just before the end of bug season. This spring I brought home a few plants and one was infested. I put this about 2 feet away from the plant and slowly over 4-5 days all the bugs migrated to this and the plant is free of insects now. My only complaint is that it’s a heavy drain on batteries. I get on average 3-4 days before the batteries run out and I’d prefer that I didn’t have to change them so frequently, especially since it’s home now requires a ladder to reach. Perhaps in a future model allow a level of brightness or an automatic off-timer after 4,5,8 hours or something like this.
