Have been eyeing this model for over a year, We were waiting for it to go on sale. Basic but all in all a great beginner Kayak and for what we'll be using it for (the cottage) it'll be more than enough Kayak for us. Bought two when they were on sale for almost 50% off along with paddles and life vests that were on sale for 50% off as well. Very light, 37lbs maneuverable and comfortable. Take a waterproof pack with you if you think you'll need one since it doesn't have a dry well. One fits easily in a chev equinox with the back hatch closed. Great purchase. Stores easily in the garage with the Kayak Straps that CT sells as well.

Super recreational kayak

I am 6 feet tall and weigh 200 lbs and this kayak is perfect, comfortable pretty stable and light eneough to lift easily ( I can pick it up and carry it over my head) - also fits inside my Jeep Patriot. Great for pottering around the bay or on a lake. Fantastic price!

Great beginner kayak

I bought this kayak last summer and did over 30 trips with it on the river. It is a great beginner kayak, no question. I did kayak many years ago but was not sure I would be serious with the sport, so I wanted to buy a practical, cheap kayak just to see. Very stable in the water and reacts well. You will not flip with this one (unless you really want to, and even then, it will require some effort). It is also very light, which enables me to carry it on my own (which was very important for me). Now that I fell in love with the sport again, I am looking to buy a longer “touring kayak”, but will still keep this one for beignners who would like to go for a ride with me. Can't go wrong for the price. Happy paddling eveyone!

Very Stable

We had purchased 2 of the Maxim 100 kayaks and found them very tippy, still fun but tippy. We decided to sell them and try again with one of pelican's other hull designs. The Juno is very stable and still seems fast. We are super happy with the purchase. I'm 6 foot and my wife is 5'2" and they fit us well.

Q : Cockpit Table Hi there, it says in the description that there is a cockpit table with this kayak. I recently purchased one and don't see anything resembling that. Is it an extra part that is supposed to come with it or is it a fold out part I haven't found yet?
