6.0L Ford Powerstroke

Have used a couple of these filters on a 6.0L Powerstroke. No issues with fitment on the water separator or engine location. Only real issue is they do not have the vent in them that allows the entire filter to fill. I change them every 6 months/12k kms so not a big deal. Ford seems to think their filters are made of gold recently so I've gone to the aftermarket for filters.

R : Just purchased sku 023-3629 at Canadian Tire Greenfield Park for $10. GK part # FG 986 cross reference G8018. Filters to 10 microns as opposed to Motorcraft ($64) 8 microns which is better. Inlet/outlets at end of filter and it comes with the two plastic retainer clips.

Q : Is this the fuel filter that can be used to a Yardworks Xtreme 208 cc snow blower? The snow blower does not want to start. I put in fresh gas, new 5-30 engine oil to the mid hatch marks and cleaned and gapped the spark plug. The snow blower will not start.

R : Hi Alain, the filter is located in a bracket attached to the left frame rail in front of the fuel tank. This filter uses a special quick disconnect fitting to attach the fuel lines to the filter, and the tool to remove the lines is available at your local Auto Parts store.

R : The inlet and outlet sizing is dependent on your vehicle type. The photograph within the ad, or online webpage, is simply just a generic photo of a fuel filter. Once you enter in your vehicle information the webpage will refresh to the correct fuel filter as long as it’s within our assortment. Typically if a barb is fitted to the original fuel filter, our replacement fuel filters would include that as well.
