Poor quality for the price

This set was purchased 3 years ago,, dispite being very well taken care of and seasoned regularly as per lagostina's instructions..the pan is no longer non stick....I contacted lagostina for replacement under their " lifetime warranty "and was emailed complete care instructions and was told that they wouldn't replace the pan under their warranty....the pictures show very clearly that this pan has very little use and has been well taken care of....bottom line....there is no lifetime warranty....very expensive poor quality...keep your money in your pocket or find something that truly is high quality and not just high priced

Camp cooking at its best

Although I was hesitant in purchasing this set due to the price, I bit the bullet and got them just over a year ago. These are sturdy, quality pots that have lasted through several weekend camping excursions, cottages, and a 2-week roadtrip. The variety of sizes are ideal - from boiling water, making pasta, to frying up eggs and hashbrowns - and the pots all nest together to save space. While the cookware works best over a propane stove, I have used these over an open fire with the only drawback being charring the exterior bottom of the pot. Definitely well worth it!

Love these pots!

Love these pots. They are as heavy and sturdy as my KitchenAid stainless clad set at home. I wanted to see how well the handle held up with weight, so I filled the smaller pot with water (1.5ish litres) and brought it to a boil. The handle felt super solid and secure when lifting it up and holding it; I have no reservations about using it to move hot pots around a campfire.
Can’t wait to use these beauties this summer!

Pleasure in Pots!

I've been hankering to get this cook set since I first saw it three years ago, but admit the price made me squirm (despite full well knowing the quality of Lagostina kitchenware). So I added it to the price alerts list, and it's coming up on sale at 25% off in two days. I went and bought it… an unopened box… this will be my ultimate and final camping cook set! You do get what you pay for, and as I do car camping the total weight is a non-issue. I look forward to using all the included items very soon. No doubt they will make camp cooking a real joy, and a purchase I will never regret. Bon Appetit!!!

Q : Is the handle supposed to stay on? I just purchased this set, and I can't the handle to clamp on the pots and stay there.
