seems to have worked

So needed 3 bottles of this product over 3 oil changes. On the third oil change I also switched to high milage oil so not sure if it was this product or the high milage oil or a combination. Either way because it took 3 bottles to stop a very small drip is why I gave it 3 stars. Just did another oil change but did not put this in just used high milage oil so will see if it comes back. I also gave it 3 stars because I read prior to purchase that if I needed another bottle after the first and had bill of sale and empty bottle id get another for free under their warrenty but Canadian tire did not honor that said I needed to prove that it was actually used in my truck. Would I buy again maybe, would I recommend depends on how bad someone's leak is.

I recently bought a 2004 Chevy Aveo for my daughter as her first car. It was in great shape, but unfortunately developed an oil leak that turned into a real headache. After trying a couple of other products and even consulting a few mechanics, I learned the repair would cost $1,200–$1,500 — more than I wanted to spend given the value of the car. Does not work for very minor oul leak

Have a very minor oil leak at my rear main seal, bought this 2 weeks ago drove well over the recommended km but nothing. Didn't stop it or slow it down. Do not recommend. Guess when it actually starts to drip I will just replace rear main seal. Personally I wouldn't waste your money on this product.

R : Yes I think it would work well . I used it on a 3.6 litre and it sealed my rear main seal leak completely. J ust follow the directions completely and drive it for the reccomended amount of time.

R : It might work for that but as far as I understand...it is designed to soften and expand the seals in an engine. It actually did work on 2 of my vehicles to stop minor oil leaks. It still seems to be working after 8 months.

R : BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak is more concentrated and is the universal application that will work for various leaks such as oil pan leaks, rear main leaks, valve cover gasket leaks, etc. Whereas the Rear Main Sealer is less concentrated and specifically formulated exclusively for leaking rear main seals. If you are not 100% sure where the vehicle is leaking or there seem to be multiple leaks then we recommend using BlueDevil Oil Stop Leak. It is not necessary to add both products simultaneously. Both products are 100% safe for all components of engines.
