Don't waste your money

Purchased April 2020 set up was easy but base cracked within 3 months, started to rust quickly and was never really straight (always tilted on an angle) Would have hoped a net would have lasted a year or longer geez

I bought this in June 2020 and it’s now March 2021.
I’ve been usin this net and it is a cheaper option, but I think this is more for if someone just wants to play basketball on a whim. The rim is flimsy, and u make shots that would probably miss on a regulation hoop because it bends the rim down a lot and flips it up and in unrealistically. The rim also isn’t really that replaceable. My rim got messed up a few days ago because it fell in the wind while I was filling it with water, and today I got a Spalding rim that’s supposed to fit with most nets, but it didn’t fit with this one. The rim also isn’t breakaway, so dunking hard isn’t a good idea. And since the spalding rim didn’t fit, now it’s just a backboard

Bought this a few months ago and it’s fallen to pieces. it took my boys 10 hours *with a few brakes to get calm* to build it within a month the backboard turned yellow. next the mesh fell apart from them shooting. then the rust wasn’t bad yellow liquid was everywhere. and it finally broke for good when we were moving back up the drive way one of the metal beams completely bent resulting the whole system to bend towards the right

We bought this last year and it has been such a headache. The instructions were impossible to understand, once we got it up it was near impossible to slide net up/down, the hoop broke within a week (emailed supplier and they sent a new one out immediately) but then after one winter, the base completely cracked and basically fell apart. It’s completely unusable and unsafe. It’s had more down time in past 10months then the time kids have actually been able to play with it.

Q : The net wont lock no matter where I adjust it to. I pull the trigger and pull the plastic handle down and it raises the net but as soon as I release the handle it goes back down to the shortest height possible. Pls help.

Q : basketball system wont go up to 10 feet is there anyway to fix this? there is an issue with the height it would only go to about 7 feet. the adjustment piece is on correctly. there are 2 height increments 1 where the backboard is about 5 foot 8" and where the backboard is about 7 feet but it doesn't go up to 10 feet.

R : While keeping one hand on the plastic handle with trigger and the other hand on the black support tube bring the grip all the way to the bottom and slowly allow this to move up the support tube until you reach the desired height.
