Strong winch

Used the winch to tow an 8500 pound fork lift onto a flat deck trailer it had no issues when used with a snatch block very smooth and quite operation compared to the champion 9000 I bought a few years ago

Little beast of a winch

I have had this winch for a while and finally mounted it on my car hauler. I power it with a group 31 deep cycle batter and use a 20000lb snatch block from Princess auto. This winch never broke a sweat pulling a car with 4 stuck tires up out of the ground and onto the trailer. I fabricated my own mount and had to make it removable because of the neighborhood I live in. The winch box has all measurements for mounting holes printed on it (standard winch mount holes). If you mount on a trailer make sure the switch wire (small black with eyelet) is connected to either the winch ground or straight to the battery. I connected mine to the battery ground post on the bottom of the winch motor. The winch is unbelievably easy to wire, just by matching colours. Great line speed for a small winch. Before you badmouth a winch, read about amperage vs volts and thermal overload. Also learn how far you need to spool out your winch for it to match the actual load rating because it definitely isnt on the top layer when its spooled in.

Very Disappointed

I mounted this winch on my truck several months ago. Today was the first opportunity I had to use it and I was seriously disappointed! The cable powered out no problem, hooked up to a vehicle stuck in a snowy ditch, pushed the IN button and…. nothing. It doesn’t work. The nice folks I was trying to help had to wait around for a tow truck and I got to drive home with 40’ of cable wrapped up on the front of my truck.
I will be attempting to return this winch, hopefully for a refund and not an exchange because I can’t trust this brand now.

R : Unfortunately there are not shorter replacements, and we think the circuit breakers in the market should be similar to theirs. This particular circuit breaker contains 3 heat protectors in total so it looks long physically.
