Hard to Find Service Now

Now that this product is discontinued, I am having problems trying to get service on it. I bought it specifically for the yard we have now - its uneven and has a steep incline at the back. I was happy that its self propelled so even I can cut the grass. And the wheels are quite durable. But I seriously hope this thing lasts a few more years cause its going to be hard to fix it

Best Mower Yet

First electric start I've owned and I love it! Have not had to re-charge the battery all summer.
Strong, quiet engine, nothing slows it down.
Mulches much better than any other mower I've owned. Never had to use the bag yet.
Highly recommended and worth the extra cost!

I love this lawn mower, was a bit hesitant with purchasing cause of the high price but am glad I did. I have a property that has some steep inclines and it climbs them with ease when using the self propel function. I would suggest buying extra blades if you can and maintenance items as the store in Fort McMurray seems to be ransacked every time you go looking for parts. The Honda engine is quite powerful and cuts through grass with heights around 6-7 inches with ease. As other users have said, it will bog down with cutting wet heavy grass which makes sense and the mower deck does clog quickly. Remedy for that would be to spray under the deck if needed during the course of your cutting job, or just cut the grass frequently to stay on top of the grass length. Overall I'm very pleased with this mower.

Great Lawnmower

Runs great and is super quiet. The deck wash feature works really well but just make sure you use it after every use to avoid plugging the little nozzle. The one handle height adjustment makes raising and lowering the deck a snap and the big wheels provide effortless pushing. The self-propelled feature is really fast (almost too fast on number 4). I bought a Troy-Bilt snow blower in the winter and was so happy with it that I had to buy a matching lawnmower. One last thing, this betsy is powered by Honda need I say more?

Q : Electric start - Battery or 120 V AC Does this unit have a self contained battery for starting or does it require plugging in to a 120 V AC outlet? I have a very large yard and if it needs to be started far from the house I don't want to buy a 1000 foot extension cord.

Q : Is the bag supposed to be included? Just unpacked the mower I bought yesterday and there is no bag. The metal bag frame is there but no bag which slips onto the frame. The box and manual both indicate should be there.
