[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV because I loved the price and the picture. I actually bought two of them. One of them already has a line through it and it’s a failure of the system but I couldn’t find it receipt so I couldn’t return it so I have a anchor of a TV with a line. Down middle. LG knows exactly when I bought this because they can look at the serial number know where it was manufactured and sent from. Very disappointing they’ll probably end my LG run since I bought a refrigerator dishwasher oven washer and dryer and two TVs. I have a memory as a consumer.

You will need a Digital Analog Converter (DAC) to connect the Optical Digital Audio Output on the LG UHD 70 Series 50-inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV (49.5'' Diag), Model # 50UP7000PUA, to an older receiver that only has the older analog stereo RCA barrel ports (Red White) and you will also need an optical cable to connect one end of the DAC to the optical digital audio output on the TV. The LG UHD 70 Series 65-inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UP7000PUA, does not have a built-in clock display, but if you are connected to a cable set-top box, it will display the time from the cable set-top box when the set-top box is on standby mode.
