Like the car seat for my baby I wanted something that wasn’t bulky but also didn’t want to keep forking out the money for car seats everytime he needed a new one love how he can be in this until he’s finished with car seats love how it keeps my baby safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a 19 month old toddler and am in my third trimester of pregnancy with our second, so I’m no stranger to car seats! Overall, this is a great car seat for the price. Pros: -Installation was easy. Even at 7 months pregnant, I was able to easily install using the rear-facing LATCH instructions. I love that the instructions included links to helpful YouTube videos, making install even easier. -Comfort- Overall my toddler has been entirely comfortable in this car seat. She loves the cup holders (one for her cup, one for a toy), though she does struggle a touch to get stuff out of them while strapped in. The seat has plenty of cushion, so my little one never seems uncomfortable. It does a feel a little less luxe than some car seats out there, but overall it feels like a good amount of comfort for the price. -Footprint- I like that this seat is slimmer than others. We often end up toting a friend along with us, so someone needs to sit in the back of our RAV4. The slimmer profile of this seat gives whoever is riding in the backseat a little more legroom than the other seats we’ve used. I’d recommend this seat for this alone! It also had a reasonable front-to-back/depth footprint. I can definitely fit this behind the driver seat when I’m driving (I’m 5’2”, for reference), but it would be a bit of a squeeze to put it there when my husband (6’) drives. Still, overall I’m impressed with the size. See pictures for reference! -Canopy- It wasn’t until I got this seat that I realized how robbed we’ve been! Infant car seats all have a canopy, but somehow most convertible seats drop this feature. I LOVE that Evenflo brought it back! It’s great for super sunny days, managing to keep my daughter a little more shielded and less likely to be yelling “EYES!” from the backseat as the sun hits her face. Fantastic feature. -Safety- Overall construction makes me feel confident in the safety of this seat. It doesn’t feel cheap or like it’s poorly made. It feels sturdy and like it will hold up if we get into an accident. -Fit- my 20-pound peanut of a toddler fit great in this seat. Plenty of room while still feeling secure. I find the clip on the harness a little harder to engage than in other car seats (a drawback when you have a toddler who considers clipping that piece to be her job), but not actually difficult. -Modes- I’ve only used this rear-facing with toddler so far, but it came with a very cozy infant insert. I love that we could use this from infant through booster seat, minimizing waste and maximizing bang-for-our-buck with one purchase. Cons: -I found it a little odd that the cup holders are required for use. It hasn’t yet had any impact as we use it, but it’s something I’ll need to be mindful of if there’s a spill and we need to take the cup holders out for cleaning. -There are some plastic pieces, seemingly structural, that come down below the padding of both sides of the headrest. It’s unclear why these aren’t covered/why the headrest fabric doesn’t extend further. -I would prefer more fabric options, especially some flame-retardant-free ones! Overall, I’m pleased with this car seat and would recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a car seat to fit three across in a sedan (Honda Accord) and this one fit the bill perfectly. I was able to install it front facing for my 3 year old in less than 15 minutes, thanks to the clear instruction manual and the quick start guide. In addition, the car seat itself is very intuitive in how to adjust everything. I really appreciate how the tethering straps are easy to adust yet stay put when finished. I've worked with other car seats where I am wrestling the straps trying to tighten it. My toddler loved sitting in it from the get go. We were stuck in traffic for over an hour driving to the airport and there were no complaints from her. She liked how cushy and cozy it was. If you use the car seat rear-facing, you can install the sunshad, which I've never seen before in a convertible car seat! That is a great feature to have in our extremely hot summers and falls in Los Angeles. I like the dark colorway, it hides any stains that may happen along the way.
