Love the concept when it's working.

The lower sensor stopped working within months. I overlooked that because we rarely used it. The top sensor is now intermittent. Fresh batteries, no dice. I'll be making a call to support when they open.

Garbage - don't waste your money

This faucet was recommended by our kitchen designer and was provided by them for our kitchen remodel. It didn't work right out of the box. The installer had to go out and get a replacement controller box. Faucet worked fine after that, for about 2 months then it stopped working again. I followed all of the troubleshooting tips and was able to "reboot" it by unplugging the cable from the batteries to the controller box for 10 seconds and let it run through its startup process. Worked fine again, for another month. Followed all of the troubleshooting tips again, the faucet went through its startup process again but this time still wouldn't work. I'm done with this thing. I have a brand new kitchen and I can't even use the sink. I have a regular faucet arriving tomorrow and I will replace this piece of garbage with a simple faucet with a handle and no electronics. Who thought it would be a good idea to over complicate a kitchen faucet? Some things just don't need computers in them.

I love this touchless tap! Only issue is the cat has discovered it and now wants to use his motion to get it running: very funny to watch but may end up expensive on the water bill front

Love the function but broken in than 5 months

We installed this as part of our kitchen remodel and LOVED the functionality of being able to turn on and off with a wave of the hand, but 5 months in it's really glitchy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. We changed batteries, no avail. Now we need to bring in an electrician to troubleshoot it.

Hello Alice and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Moen website. We are sorry to hear of the difficulty you are experiencing with your faucet. Based on your description, your Moen Align Spot Resist Stainless One-Handle High Arc MotionSense Pulldown Kitchen Faucet should be checked for the following:
1-Change the batteries for fresh, new ones.
2-Unplug both the power cord and the data cable from the control box under the sink. Leave them out for 60 seconds.
3-Do not stand or let anyone walk in front of the faucet while it is re-booting.
4-After 60 seconds, plug-in the data cable in first, then plug-in the power cord. Make sure they are both pushed in completely.
5-If you have a black control box, the water will turn on and off by itself 2 times. If the control box is gray, it will turn on/off by itself 1 time.
After completing this process, the sensors and handle should work normally. If this does not address the issue, please call us directly and one of our product specialists would be happy to work with you to resolve the issue.
