The product might not be the same as a $400 system. But the service makes it all worthwhile !
Received this back up camera 2 years ago for my birthday. Installed it on our RV. No problem installing and it worked fine till this year. Narrowed the problem to water in the camera. Contacted the company directly and explained I wanted to purchase a replacement camera., because the guarantee expired.
To my surprise the answer was; no problem we will send you a new camera, no charge.
Today we received a box from Win Plus, via UPS, no charge, with a complete set, camera, transmitter, mirror, with an explanation that they didn't have the parts for the version I had installed.
If that's not customer service, I don't know what is.

camera is not rainproof

works ok for a few months.
camera became foggy and the whole system is unusable after a recent heavy rain.
water vapor got trapped between the camera and the protective lens.
couldn't reach support at winplus because there's no answer and its input mail box was full.

Nearly perfect

I bought this backup camera today, and installed it in the Canadian Tire parking lot in under an hour. The mirror just snaps over the old one and plugs into a lighter socket. The camera sticks on to the back of the license plate, and takes about 5 minutes to install. Most of the time was spent routing the wire from the camera to the backup light wiring. The only tool I needed was $3 multi-tool plier. I got back in the car, put it into reverse, and it worked perfectly first time.

I installed this system on my car, and was happy at first with it. But after only a few months, the camera stopped working. Yada sent me another camera at no cost and the system worked fine for another few months, but then again the camera stopped working again. By then the warranty was up so I threw it all out. The camera seems to not be water proof.

Good for the first 12 months

I purchased this product, installed it and it worked pretty good. I had some occasional interference but minor. After 14 months or so the camera no longer works. At first I thought that it had water in it and that it would clear up but it never did. Now it's totally useless except for the hands free on the mirror. I have no choice except to either replace the camera or pitch it. I'm doing the latter. I wouldn't waste my money on this.
