Man, what a great board!!
Got it on the clear-out sale price and what a deal. Never be able to find a SUP board of this quality for the price.
So hence the comment, " So glad, too bad".
So glad I think I got the last complete board, paddle, bag and leash in the Vancouver area.
Too bad for other potential customers that Canadian Tire looks like they will no longer be carrying it.
Big thanks to Nick at the Cambie store in Vancouver for making a extra effort to find the complete package buried in the warehouse and then helping me load it on my vehicle.
You rock buddy, ( Canadian Tire management take notice. )
Told by two other customer service representatives at that and another store that even though they showed stock, they couldn't find the boards and only the damaged display boards, which were missing almost all their parts were available.
None the less, all in the past. Been out on the board on the local lakes and it handles like ken a dream. Stable, quick and smooth, no problem cutting through the winds and responds great when turning.
I've tried many other boards over the past 3 years, but this one rates the highest for me. So glad I got it.
Would recommend this brand to anyone and its still available online at the company website. (But not at the same clear-out price, but still worth it!)

Best Paddle Board

This board is awesome. I just started paddle boarding and I love this board. It is super sturdy and easy to paddle and steer. The fins are simple and easy to set up and take out in less than a minute and adjustable paddle is very light weight making it easy to paddle for long periods of time. The board bag has a long shoulder strap as well as two small hand straps making it easy to transport from your vehicle to the water. I highly recommend this board to others.

Q : deck pad seriously considering board but i wonder how the black deck pad will hold up getting hot in the sun? would feel a lot better if it was grey.

R : The deck pad is black for several reasons. Firstly, we like the fact that the sun is attracted to the black colour when it is being used. With the majority of our Canadian water being a little cold, it is a nice feeling having your feet get a little of the radiated heat from the sun. With the construction method and having the automatic breather valve there is no chance of having your board overheat causing damage while you are using it. For as much as the sun will be attracted to the black deck pad the other side of the board is in water that will prevent overheating. Secondly, the lighter coloured deck pads get much dirtier looking and do not look as aesthetically appealing as the black deck pad. Lastly, the Beaver Board SUP, as any high-end SUP should never be left in the direct sun light for an extended period of time. Whenever transporting your board it should always be in the bag or placed on the roof rack with the deck pad facing down so the curve of your board goes down (like a banana). All of the proper care and handling instructions are detailed in the owner's manual.

R : Hi Lenny, the weight of the board is 12.7 kgs (28lbs). As each board is hand-made there are some minor variations with each board. With the dimensions of the Beaver Board being a little wider and a little thicker than the average SUP. However, these dimensions make the board very stable. With the wood stringer and the bamboo top and bottom, this adds durability and great looks but adds a little to the weight. In designing a SUP board, it is always a challenge to go back and forth between low weight and durability and stability. Typically, the lighter the board the more fragile it is. We believe we have the exact ratio that will allow for durability, performance and weight.
