False Advertising!! The product states that it’s REFILLABLE…which is great but THEY DONT SELL REFILLS!!! I now had to buy another complete bait station for 30$ which I now own 3! This to me is a scam!

If you live in Brampton you need this for your outdoor space as some ppl have no care to tend to their garbage in an orderly fashion to avoid attracting rodents. As they worship rats and walk with them like its normal in their homeland!!

Doesn’t kill rats

I tried for 6 weeks. I placed a camera and saw the rats eating the bait, but they just kept coming. It did not kill the rats.

Q : How much bait must one adult rat eat for it to be lethal? The rats have been eating the bait very quickly, especially with winter arriving and other food sources being limited. So it is very effective. I’d like to estimate my total kill count :)

R : I calculate 1.5 mg of diphacinone per 30 gram block. Based on lethal dose of 0.3 mg to 7 mg/kg, one 30 gram block should be able to kill between 5 and 0.21 kg of rats. Best case if a rat weighs 250 grams, then 20 rats per block. Worst case, a little more than one block would be required to kill one 250 gram rat, and more than one block would be required to kill larger rats. For example, worst case 5 blocks would be required to kill a 1 kg rat. Assuming a rat will eat more than the lethal dose before it expires, then the numbers above are optimistic...so should say less than 20 smaller rats per block is best case, and more than 5 blocks per rat would be the worst case for larger rats.
