Purchased to remove some mild efflorescence on my newly laid patio stones. Followed all directions on the label. Product removed most of the efflorescence however it also removed most of the colour from my stones. They went from being dark brown to pink. I contacted Rust-Oleum customer service and was they told me to power wash the stones and that the issue was resolved. I re- contacted them again and told them that I did in fact power wash them prior to originally contacting them. I sent them more pictures showing the before and after colour differences of the stones and they never responded back to me. This product ruined our project! If I could I would give it zero stars and I’d give their dismissive customer service negative zeroes.

Thank you Emily for taking the time to share your experience with our RockSolid Efflorescence Remover. Let’s see how we can help. After applying the remover on the surface, the product will begin to fizz after making contact with the efflorescence. Wait 5-10 minutes until the fizzing stops. You will repeat this process until no fizzing appears. This process may require several applications, including the use of a stiff bristle broom to help work the product into the surface. Rinse thoroughly with water or power wash to remove all the product residue. Squeegee or broom any excess moisture from the surface. Re-application may be necessary until all the salts are removed from the concrete surface. Please give us a call at 1-800-387-3625. Not worth the money

Bought this product to clean the white staining off my brick wall. Scrubbed and scrubbed. Stain is still there.

For the best results, we recommend scraping to remove any dirt and loose contaminates on the brick wall first. For vertical surfaces, apply the product with a brush or paint roller where the efflorescence appears. The product will begin to fizz when it comes into contact with the efflorescence. Wait 5-10 minutes until the fizzing stops and reapply the product until no fizzing appears. This process may require several applications until all the salts are removed. R : The Efflorescence Remover will need to be well rinsed after use. Using a stiff brush will not be enough to rinse the product away. A power washer is definitely preferred. If powerwashing is not an option, rinse with lots of clean water to remove all product residue. Use a squeegee or broom to remove excess water from the surface.
