Poor quality - stopped working after 2 seasons

I purchased these lights in December 2022. They worked fine at the time of purchase - I was happy with the colours and twinkle/light show modes.
Last year, December 2024, one strand short circuited and the colours would not change nor twinkle properly. I assumed it was a one-off issue with that strand.
This year, 3 more strands do not work properly - certain bulbs will not change colour and the twinkle/light shows do not work properly. There is no way to change the bulbs on the strand so they have to be trashed (eco station!).

Q : How on earth is the 2 colour alternating setting programmed? I can only set one colour; the secondary colour is always white. Is that just the way it is, and the consumers don't get to be notified?

R : You can have every colour. White doesn't have to be shown at all if you don't want it. If you look on page 3 of the instructions you'll see the different combinations available. We use number 11 quite often which gives an amazing light show using all the colours. These are the best Christmas lights we've ever purchased. I hope that helps.

R : There is manual to program the remote. You need to play around with the remote to suit your needs. It is the latest thing nowadays. My fireplace in the house has the same remote control and I use it without any manual. It is the same remote works with my xmas lights as well. Hope this helps.

At NOMA we work hard to ensure the performance of our products will meet the expectations of our customers. The complexity of the electronic components in the NOMA Advanced Lightshow series makes it extra changing to cover the full range of Canadian winters and the extreme conditions. At this time, - 40C is not recommended for the Advance Lightshow series. -20C would be more optimal. All other NOMA LED lights can handle the -40C without issue. R : They will change and revert back if you turn them off manually but if you have a timer they will stay the way they are programmed until you change them , I have set different light shows and they always stay the same when using my timer

R : Never had an issue with the lights I purchased. Try switching the sections would be my first action. If that does not work then there has to be something in the connection end, either contact Noma or take back to store of purchase and see if they can help

R : You can overwrite the saved favourites by saving others over top. I believe there is a capacity of 5 to save then it starts overwriting.

Q : Do these lights work with the hub 2.0? I can't get them to pair on the app. I have done the reset unplug 3 times and the lights don't go into pairing mode. Please help! Disappointed can't get it to work.
