After sprinklling white thin powder layer is left. That is diatometos, that destroys bed bugs shell. The item itself doesn't destroy bed bugs immediately but for the long term it is a good cure

As soon as I had a track of bites on my arm, I IMMEDIATELY scheduled professional bedbug treatment (booked for 3 days later) with my property management office. I then IMMEDIATELY went to Canadian Tire and purchased both of the ORTHO BGon products: the Diatomaceous Earth and the Max (on-contact killer).
Although I did not visually identify any bedbugs (including no fecal spots), rest assured they were hiding in the walls and furniture. I live in a very large building, the constant turnover of residents is a fact of life. In their suitcases, infested furniture that they drag in from the garbage area, these are unavoidable realities.
The 'cracks and crevices' attachment is excellent! After the professional treatments, I noted that the technician had sprayed a very similar Diatomaceous product, as it is very fine and actually sticks to the surface very well.
As I live in a high rise, I will maintain a schedule of spraying and dusting every month. No exception.
Important note: Lock out all pets for at least 2 hours! I extend this to 4 hours.

R : I would suggest leaving it on. When you change your sheets on a weekly basis, you can vacuum the old residue and respray again before covering with sheets. Repeat spraying weekly for at least three months to ensure you are rid of them.

R : The spray is like a powder. I would avoid couches, clothing, etc. because of the cleanup. It's best on hard surfaces. You can spray along the baseboards and around the bottom of beds, etc. It's not harmful to pets but I would probably keep the pet away from any areas until it is completely dry because it does sometimes create some liquid from the pressurized spray can if you spray it continuously without stopping. As for the eggs they will be killed when they emerge. It's not a perfect product but it does seem to work.
