Efficient and helped improve my dry skin

I didnt realize how much dry air was affecting our whole family until I started using this humidifier consistently. The top-fill design makes it unbelievably convenient (no awkward flipping, no spills, just fill and go.) Its honestly the best humidifier Ive owned.
Within just a few days, I noticed my dry skin patches improving, which was huge for me during winter when everything normally feels tight and irritated. We also wake up feeling more comfortable overall less dry throat, less stuffy noses, and fewer middle-of-the-night wakeups from coughing or congestion.
When I was dealing with congestion myself, it made such a noticeable difference, and Im sure it helped the kids too. Its not a cure, but it adds moisture back into the air in a way that actually feels supportive, not just extra.
What really sold me though is the filter system. I would much rather change a filter every six months than feel like I have to deep-clean a humidifier every few days. That alone has made mom life easier. Its quiet, minimal, and cute enough to leave out without feeling like clutter.
One of those simple tools that quietly does its job and I dont want to go without it now.

Small Size, but capable of working in a mid-size room

It's one of the few mid-sized humidifiers I could find in the store. The box claims it can humidify a large room. Personally, I think it's more accurate to say a "mid-size room". On the plus side, it doesn't take up much space. The bottom section holds the water, and it has a small floating ball to indicate the water level. There is no automatic shut-off system, so it'll run all day dry if you let it. The soft-touch buttons on the top fan section is a nice touch. It runs very quietly, even on "high". It works better if you place it on a small table, as the moist air comes out at the sides. The top section doesn't lock in, It just sits on top with the three "posts" properly aligned. This is something that could easily be knock over, so consider how that'll work with small children around.
The filter is a larger, round affair. This isn't something you could easily find, so I can't say how easily I'll be able to find this filter in a year or two. (It looks similar to a car's air filter, but taller and a smaller diameter.)
The lack of "out of water" indicator to either turn off the unit or have a small LED light up to say "I'm empty" is about the worse I can say about the unit. Otherwise, it seems to do the job.

based on all the positive reviews when I had trouble with the first one, I returned it for a second one thinking maybe it was just a one off. nope same problem with both humidifiers. it starts...it runs for 30 seconds then turns off for a couple of minutes...turns on again runs for 20 seconds then turns off. I have to put it to 60% humidity to get the room to 45%. I don't know where or how all these other reviews praise it's performance but I can't seem to get the same out of it. I changed the positioning...I've put it in center of room. nothing seems to work. no more than 20 seconds of run time. the easy fill top is great. I used distilled water but works with tap as well. I wouldn't say it's noisy at all but it's not as whisper quiet as say an ultrasonic model. you will hear the fan spinning but it's not noisy like 1 review said. I'm glad it works for some but hasn't worked for me.

Sleek Humidifier

This humidifier has a sleek design and is very easy to use straight out of the box. You can fill the reservoir with water from the top, which is very convenient, but we noticed that limescale builds up very easily on the filter inside. We weren't aware that it's better to use distilled water, as it doesn't say that anywhere. The filter is also quite pricy at $39 so having to replace it often isn't a great feature.
