This fireplace has an amazing assortment of flame options an a great heat thermostat to regulate the heat output. It came in a huge box with very easy instructions. By myself it took about an hour and a half to fully assemble. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great addition to any rooms décor.

This fireplace cabinet is great quality. It is made of wood and not pressboard. Easy to,assemble. The instructions are clear. The packaging was exceptional and product well protected. Colour is a rich cherry, hardware is very modern. The glass doors are heavy. Fireplace has 5 settings to suit your mood.

R : I'll reply to my own question, since I bought it, the questions weren't really answered and it might help someone else. Yes, you can control the temperature of the fireplace. If my memory is good, it goes from 70 to 80 F. Yes, you can turn off the heat while the fireplace works.
