Better to go with OEM

Cheap fibres and doesn't compare to OEM. It's also slightly smaller. Would not recommend when OEM is priced about the same. I returned it and went for OEM.

Easy to install

Great oil filters very easy to change by myself. I usually buy them on sale or when there are Canadian Tire money offers. Not sure how difficult they are to recycle but I bring them to the nearby eco centre. They seem sturdy and never get stuck when it's time for an oil change.

R : Be careful with the other guy's answer... Even with a full synthetic oil, you probably don't want to wait 24000km between changes. I wouldn't go much more than 10000km on a synthetic oil. And at the price, you may as well change the filter out at the same time.

R : Hi Robson, the FRAM Ultra Synthetic branded oil filter is rated for up to 32,000kms actually. This duration is calculated when used with an appropriate synthetic motor oil, however, you are able to change your oil and filter within that range if you feel the need to. We also recommend to change intervals as outlined in your vehicle Owner's Manual.

R : Hi Sunny, unfortunately with the details you've provided I can't confidently tell you which part number the FRAM Ultra Synthetic oil filter is for your vehicle. I'll need to know your engine size as well. If you have the 1.4L then that part number is XG3614, where as if you have 2.0L, that is a different part number. Rather it's XG11784. I suggest referencing your Owner's Manual to understand engine size and proper fitment prior to purchasing and installing an oil filter on your vehicle.
