Problems replacing LEDs on Sleigh

I've had the reindeer and sleigh for a few years. Recently, noticed that lights on one side of the sleigh were very dim. In trying to troubleshoot the problem, I noticed that the LEDs on one side are a different size than the one on the other, ie can not take an LED on one side and place in socket on the other. As well, replacement LEDs supplied only fit one side.

Lights on sleigh not working.

Set this up only to find that one half of the lights don’t work on the sleigh. Tried switching out each one and nothing!

I bought this in 2024. Halfway through the Christmas season last year half of the lights stopped working. I have tried replacing bulbs this year to get it working, but all of it does not want to light up. This applies to both pieces. Half the lights work and half the lights don’t. It is a logistical nightmare, trying to identify the problem. bulb. There are several in my neighbourhood with the same problem so I know it’s not unique to mine

Nice but BRUTAL to assemble

The end result is quite cute. As some have said more lights in the head would be a good idea.
However, make sure you have at least two hours to put the two darn things together. It is not easy to assemble and the directions are iffy at best. In addition, make sure you spread out a drop sheet of some kind no matter where you assemble it. Sparkles EVERYWHERE. I had the bright idea of being able to take these two things apart (even partially apart) at the end of the season but I have no idea how I would do that. They are going to stay assembled. Once the lights die I will buy something more expensive that is easier to assemble, I can take apart and doesn’t leave my house looking like a fairy had just had a sneeze attack

R : I had the same problem with the deer and sleigh as well as 2 snowmen I had purchased in a previous year. The ground anchors provided with all were too narrow and short. So, I used some old tent pegs I had, approximately 7 inches long, and no trouble since! The straight pegs work better than the spiral ones.

R : There are lights inside the deer and a cord for plugging in. You should be able to tuck the cords in and use white zip ties that were provided to help secure the cords.

Q : Where are the fuses located in the Canvas Reindeer and Sleigh. Half the lights are out in the Reindeer and I know it looks like one of the lights, but contains the fuse! I need to replace the fuse.

R : Thanks for reaching out! The fuses were built-into the plug. The light set was built on a series circuit. This means when one bulb goes out, the entire circuit is impacted and does not stay lit. May we suggest to check on the connection of the lights if there are any loosen bulbs; especially for the lamp holder with 3-wires connected at the bottom as these are the joints of the series circuit.
