Great size, easy to clean. Steams well too.
When we were renovating and our appliances hadn't arrived yet, we used a rice cooker to make full meals. If you don't like to use a microwave, this is the perfect size to heat up any soup, stew, veggies or other items in a short amount of time.

R : You need to factor in the water or liquid amount that goes in with the rice. Total capacity would be 16 cups which might match the 8 cups of rice if your rice:water ratio is 1:2
