I bought this to replace my several years old 40V Greenworks wheelbarrow which, although it hasn't let me down yet, is starting to get a little tired. Suffice to say that I am well satisfied with the original or wouldn't be upgrading. The question most often asked "Does it have brakes?". Nope. You have to hold it back going downhill. So, one 40lb feed bag, I'm walking. Two, I'm holding it back and three bags has me running. On the other hand it will transport the same weight up the hill with a little assistance from the operator. Just a little. Improvements over the 40V model: The 12" wheels are wider and grip better. The castor also is bigger to match the wheels and this set up is much better in snow. Couldn't use the 40V in snow. Instead of the dead man switch throttle on the old one, the 60V model has a thumb operated throttle which is variable speed and allows you to come to a complete stop for several seconds and start again without resetting the mechanism. So take your thumb off while going downhill and press it again to keep going or stop, throw some stuff on and keep going without resetting the throttle. This also means that as well as having two speeds, you can speed it up or slow down to zero within those two ranges. The 60V batteries are huge and by the time you purchase two and a charger you have almost paid for a second wheelbarrow. Something to keep in mind. I have only had mine for a week and haven't come close to using up the charge in one battery so you can decide whether you need an extra. Ther is an indicator on the handle to keep track of the charge status. The model shown is the same bright green as the 40V but the one that arrived is black. I was hoping it would be. I can carry a 3 day supply of firewood, 3 bags of feed or 3 bales of hay at a time as well as a whole bunch of other uses. I would highly recommend this product. 👌

Purchased this 60 volt wheel barrel this summer for my deck project . The main concern for me was to haul gravel from the curb at the front yard to an inaccessible back yard due to my villa backing onto the town canal . In addition to hauling the full length of the house - I was faced with cutting through neighboring yards as the access gate to the canal was not set in my own back yard . This meant having to go through 2 different gates over a hilly terrain . With a conventional wheel barrel - this hauling of gravel would have been back breaking work . Way beyond my expectations - the 60 volt cart powered through everything I threw at it and more , I made 15 full loads of gravel on different days during the build and the battery life was outstanding . Only used up one bar out of four each time . The charger did a great job when required although I could have just left the battery uncharged . This cart is strong and stable , very good build , brakes work as they should and I love the fact that the barrel tilts with ease for unloading the gravel . I ordered this cart straight through Green Works , it was delivered to my front door . Incredible machine and money well spent .Thank you for the wonderful product - Highly recommended to buy !
