This is an excellent vacuum, lightweight, terrific suction, and easy breakaway for stairs etc. I bought this make and model as a gift a couple years ago after doing my research and have just purchased the exact same one for myself. I can’t recommend it enough, meets all of my requirements and more!

Could have been great!

I bought this vacuum cleaner a few weeks ago because I was very happy with a different model of the Shark Navigator. This new vacuum has a feature that appealed to me whereby the hair in the carpet and on the floors goes directly into the canister and you don't have to clean it from the roller. But I seem to have a defective model. The lift away canister keeps coming out when the vacuum is in use. Also the cardboard packing didn't completely come out of the nooks and crannies and the vacuum head has become damaged. I'm not a happy camper.

Disappointed

I absolutely LOVE the Shark brand and encourage anyone to buy it over $$$ brands any day. When my Shark Navigator Pet finally stopped working I didn’t even consider replacing it with anything else. I didn’t do any research on this model prior to purchase but I wish I would have. I thought it had all the same attachments and accessories and would have the same power level to it.
The duster crevice tool didn’t have the bristle brush on it but was simply rubber nubs on one side. In a house with dogs the brush is important to me.
It does have the same two settings for bare floor and carpet but it just didn’t seem to have the same suction power as my previous upright Shark vacuum.
It also doesn’t have a cradle for the hose so it just flops around the back of the machine as you’re pushing it back and forth.
I cannot return as it has been used. But I have since found an exact replacement for my previous model elsewhere and am still in love with the Shark brand.

Powerful suction is perfect for our floors

The Shark Lift-Away vacuum is super easy to assemble and use, and its powerful suction is perfect for our floors. It has the proper capacity to pick up all my postpartum hair, dust, and everything in between. The cord has enough reach I only need to plug it into two different spots for our main floor living space!
