W e bought this seat for my daughter when she was 9 months old. She was extremely tiny and did not sit properly in any other car seat this size. She was too tall for the infant car seats, but she was too skinny and would not sit straight in any other bigger childseat. The recline is quite far for the rearfacing, but it was exactly what my daughter needed for her weak back. It ended up being more comfortable for her than the infant sear. We managed to fit it properly in our Toyota Corolla (I had to move the passenger seat up a bit, but that's ok for a small person like me) and also my parents Merzedes-Benz E350. We are looking to buy another one for my son, who is now 6 months old and very big for his age. I got the first one for a great deal, as I do agree that it is a bit pricy! I recommend sitting your child in the different car seats and finding the best match for your child!

A: 3 in 1 means three different stages of a child. rear facing for baby, front facing with straps for toddler(less than 40lbs), front face with car safety belts for kid(40-80lbs)..

A: We would recommend referring to your child restraint owner’s manual for best practices. The harness system must be removed to use the child restraint as a booster. Steps include but not limited to; - Unhook harness straps from splitter plate - Remove harness straps - Insert metal retainer through shell and pad - Remove bucket from child restraint

Q: Is the exchange warranty only for the same product or could this carseat be exchanged within the one-year time frame for a different carseat? This carseat is difficult to use as rear facing, even in our full size Ford F150. The straps are difficult to adjust and the tightening tether seems to stick (no, the carseat has not had food or juice spilled on it).
