The Victor Metal Pedal Wood Mouse Traps 2-Pack is easy-to-use, disposable, and gets the job done without a fuss. Simply place the included traps where mice are active, bait them with peanut butter or nuts, and press down the pedal to set them. When a mouse disturbs one of the trigger pans, a spring-loaded bar will slam shut to trap and humanely kill the rodent. These basic traps represent a convenient, non-toxic option for ridding your home of mice in a pinch.

A bit of peanut butter and this trap did the job, the mouse is in custody now , I disposed the trap with mouse in it, it took only one day to catch that intruder

I’m actually extremely disappointed with these traps. I’ve been setting up mouse traps for several years in the building’s electrical room due to high activity. These traps were rated well, even better than the yellow plastic ones. I set up 4 traps and the next day all the peanut butter from all 4 had been eaten and not a single trap was triggered. I was able to reapply the peanut butter without even triggering some. I set up a total of 6 the second day and just checked to find once again all the peanut butter was gone with zero mice caught. One of the traps had even been moved a fair distance without being triggered.

Every year in the fall the mice are looking for a way into my house. I feel much better having a few mouse traps in likely locations that let me know how successful they are. Once you get the hang of setting them up they are great just keep your fingers out of the way!
