Doesn’t work at all

I am setting on my patio with thermacell under my chair and I have video of mosquitos landing on my foot not two feet from unit. Have had it over a year and never noticed it helping. This is not a bad mosquito area either

Works as advertised

Simple to operate. Battery life of the device was ~9hrs from the full charge. Worked as advertised to repel mosquitos in my back yard and while camping. There is a ~15min warmup time for it to become effective, but there's a noticeable decrease during this time. The 20ft radius is heavily impacted by wind, so the unit has to be positioned (and relocated) as appropriate to compensate.

Makes mosquitos go bye-bye! Works great, good battery life. My only complaint is that there is no indication from the device that the cartridge needs to be replaced…you have to wait for the mosquitos to let you know. Otherwise, this is a perfect device.

Great Mosquito Repeller, Button Needs Improvement

I have used the EX90 many times and it has definitely helped keep mosquitos away at campsites. Unfortunately, the Power On button turns on so easily when the unit is placed in a backpack. It stinks having backpacked for several hours only to get to camp, and pull the unit out of the pack and see that it has been on for several hours. I wish the switch was a slide switch, or one that required a long press, or 3-5 fast presses to turn on. Or maybe a lock off feature.

Q: Has this product ever gone on sale? Do the refills ever go on sale? Seems that this is a pretty pricey item that may only work when there is little to no wind outside or only work in a 50 square foot area.

A: I don’t often see Thermacell items on sale. Little or no wind is when mosquitoes are at their worst. I have 2 of these I use on each end of my 200 sq. Foot deck. We don’t get touched. Even with a little wind.

Q: So just bought this product (EX series) says online that it will protect you in 4.5 meter radius and that is why we bought it .... but inside the user guide say its only 3 meter radius. whats up with that and what is it really?

A: I can't say exactly. I have a 20 ft x 15 ft deck. I use 2 Thermacells. 1 on each end. No mosquitoes ever while they are running.

Q: Can I safely charge this on my solar system? I have 300 watts of panel connected to Nautilus AGM Group 24 deep cycle battery connect to 800 watt power inverter.

A: I don't see why not. This unit charges via USB A cable (out) so as long as you can plug it into a USB charger or if your inverter has a USB input should be ok
