Good little unit worth it for sure

I keep this on me when I walk my Fur Friend , does keep them away while moving but not effectively. If you are sitting and or stationary with the unit it is quite effective for sure.

Bugs be gone

Had my sailboat at a marina and forgot to close the hatch. Poked my head in the cabin it was a swamp of misquotes. Fired up the Thermacell and went back to the marina for another beer. half an hour later... bugs be gone.

A: Yes, this one is the portable one. You can hold it or comes with a clip that you can attach to a pocket. I bring this with us on walks or hikes.

Q: I need it to repel mosquitoes around the zipper entrance of a tent while a slow moving person is getting in and out in various times like every 5-30 minutes so to extend its refills I don't need it on all the time but how quick the activation is?

A: It's as quick as lighting a butane lighter. That's all it is really a 12 hour butane lighter. It heats up the blue pads with a low flame, which gives off the repellent. It takes a few (approx 2) min to heat up the pad. However to turn it on or off it's a flick of a switch

Q: This product comes with a belt clip, but can you clip it on your belt or waistband because the instructions say this product should not be attached to clothing.

A: The belt clip is for securing your repeller for transport. Not for operating your repeller while on your person.

Q: Is it a rechargeable battery? I'm not sure what a CR2032 battery is.

A: This product repels mosquitoes using a fuel cartridge which generates heat that is directed at a repellent mat, creating a zone of mosquito protection. The CR2032 is a small button battery that powers the ZoneCheck feature - a light that illuminates when the product is warm enough to repel mosquitoes. The CR2032 battery is not required to repel mosquitoes.
