Short lifespan

Give off good light, but I'm replacing these after a month or two, it's ridiculous. I just had one burn out <48 hours after I put it in. Very surprised by positive reviews, will not buy again.

Q: Why does GE have a rating of 1.8 year life at top right of the packaging and in the features section on the Canadian Tire website it says 2.7 years? Who is correct and why?
