Seems to work. Wasn't sure if it was working or not because the blue light was always on. Then we did some major cooking. The meter went into the red zone, but after a while recovered back to blue. So it must be doing its job. At the low setting it is pretty quiet. Noise increases the higher the setting. Only negative feature is that the replacement filters will be pricey.

A: We have a long haired ragdoll cat - we vacuum the filter at 3 months and change it at 6 months.
