Modelled after natural bamboo for exceptional traction, its High Dispersible Silica tread supports the tyre while limiting ecological impact. The symmetric tread design and lightweight construction mean long-lasting performance and efficiency for any sport utility vehicle, crossover or pick-up.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

Rated Low Resistance

Indicates the tire has had additional testing to ensure that it meets a certain benchmark in Rolling Resistance to help improve fuel economy.

Q: is the m+s rating of the Kumho solus kl21 225/50r17 tire legal on roads requiring snow tires or chains

A: The M+S symbol on the tire indicates that the tire has all-season capabilities. Tires bearing this mark offer great traction and can be used in rain, snow, and muddy conditions. However, it does not mean the tire has passed any road tests ensuring effectiveness in severe winter conditions. Without a mountain snowflake symbol it does not meet the requirements listed above.
