Q: Can this light fixture be used in a drop ceiling?

A: I have two of these attached to drop ceiling in my man cave. I just got a longer threaded rod that will go from the bracket that hooks to the electrical box and attached it to the light with the supplied nut.Have been using these for over 6 years now and no problems. As long as you are careful and don't pull or yank the fixture while changing a bulb , One of the 3 clips that hold the glass on is spring loaded. You have to pull that clip to get the glass out. Other than that, a simple job.
